The nation exported 57,000 metric tons in October, down from a previous estimate of 70,000 tons, according to figures released today by the General Statistics Office in Hanoi. Shipments this month may reach 80,000 tons, to bring the total for the first 11 months to 1.053 million tons, up 1.5 percent from the same period in 2009, based on Statistics Office data.
